How to Install SuperATV's Low Profile Fender Flares on the Honda Talon 1000-4
Braden is going to walk you through a step-by-step on how to get your machine ready for serious riding. Installing our low profile fender flares will keep you protected and they look great too. We make our Honda Talon Fender Flares out of durable 1/8” LDPE. They won’t break if you drive through some branches. That’s not the only reason they stay on—they’re held together with machined aluminum chamfered washers and countersunk bolts to keep them secured. We also cut them to match your fenders. That makes them easier to install, and they’ll go great with your stock fenders. Made in the USA! 00:25 – Tool list 00:29 – Remove all contents from packaging 00:45 – Line up the passenger side flare to the counters of the machine 01:16 – Mark all the holes with pain marker and drill holes 02:05 – Insert first pushpin 02:31 – Remark hole with paint marker 02:48 – Drill second hole 02:58 – Insert second pushpin 03:06 – Drill the rest of the holes 03:22 – Insert bottom pushpins 03:42 – Line up flare to the factory fender lip 04:20 – Drill first hole through fender flare and upper fender lip 05:04 – Install hardware into first drill fender lip 06:31 – Drill second hole through fender flare and upper fender lip 07:07 – Install hardware into second drill fender lip 07:36 – Drill third hole through fender flare and upper fender lip 07:41 -- Install hardware into third drill fender lip 08:10 -- Drill fourth hole through fender flare and upper fender lip 08:15 -- Install hardware into fourth drill fender lip 08:52 – Fully tighten all the hardware 09:21 – Get ready to install the back fender flare by removing rear pushpin 09:41 – Insert fender flare hardware in rear pushpin hole 10:00 – Mount rear fender flare 10:10 – Install passenger side rear plate 12:42 – Install hardware for the rest of the rear fender flare 15:27 – Fully tighten all the hardware Need a set of low profile flares?
