How to Install SuperATV's Front Disc Brake Kit for Honda ATVs
Need an upgrade for those crappy drum brakes? Braden is going to show you how to install our top of the line kit so you have top of the line stopping power. This kit requires no welding or modifications to your quad. It is an easy installation and can be done with simple, everyday hand tools. The Disc Brake Conversion Kit comes with all necessary hardware, easy-to-follow instructions and sintered bronze pads for extended life. This fits multiple other Honda models with a 12" steel wheel; this is not recommended for OEM aluminum wheels. 00:25 – Tool list 00:29 – Remove front wheels and tires 01:10 – Remove castle nut 01:16 – Remove the 8mm bolts 01:27 – Remove the drum 01:33 – Remove inner drum bolts 02:43 – Remove hub out of the drum 02:55 – Press the stud out of the hub 03:38 -- Install caliber bracket 04:42 – Install hub into the rotor 05:15 – Install wheel spacer 06:11 – Install hub and rotor 06:20 – Reinstall the castle nut 06:34 – Reinstall the cotter pin 07:07 – Install the passenger side caliber 08:03 – Remove brake line clips 08:17 – Remove the vacuum line 09:35 – Remove brake line and connect it to brake caliber 11:12 – Fasten the brake line to the A- arm 11:53 – Repeat the previous steps on the opposite side of the machine 14:54 – Top off brake fluid 16:23 – Pump the brakes to move the fluid to crack the line 16:47 – Gravity bleed the brake fluid 18:00 – Reinstall the wheels and tire Ready to get your Honda Disc Brake Kit?
